RE: American Conference Preview
Other than Louisville losing to Kentucky and Cincinnati beating UCF in a game that hasn't been scheduled yet, this was a pretty thorough and fair analysis.

Agree many are not giving the Bulls much respect which is understandable after the Skip debacle but I think there will be many caught by surprised this year.

People only look at previous records without doing any homework. And, it's true, USF had a poor record last 2 years. But, even a cursory review or homework check would have revealed that USF lost more last second games than ANY team in the entire country the last 2 years, inlcuding to all the top teams such as Louisville, Cincinnati, and Rutgers (remember the Bonani miss which would have won the RU game or Cincy scoring a TD with a couple seconds left in game, or Teddy Bridgewater throwing a late TD, among many others?).

I think its more along the lines of the fact that you lost your only major weapon on offense (Daniels) than people just looking at records and chalking it down. Even back to Leavitt USF has had problems in the second half of their seasons when they have to travel up North, I haven't looked at their schedule in depth yet, but I would say if they have to travel North again this year, I would expect a second half stepback, and with their early season being notoriously difficult in the past, I would probably put their ceiling at 7 wins this season...more than likely I could see 6-6 with a bowl win. Four wins is too low, but I don't see that team competing with the top 3 this season, extenuating circumstances notwithstanding.
