Huh?
Louisville and Rutgers are getting little ACC and Big 10 coverage this year.

I think this is pretty good by ESPN. We have our own link along with the rest of the P-5. ESPN has a lot of control over college football so it looks good having that link even if there is a lack of real blogs. I would try to click the link on a daily basis.

RE: In case you missed it: ESPN's response to lack of Blog.
I've been thinking about this... I believe that ESPN wanted to totally kill the blog, and did not want to resurrect anything for us... As we all understand, it's to degrade and devalue the property. Yes even though they own us, their real holding is in the P5, we're just cheap weekday filler content. ESPN wants that filler to STAY cheap, and in no way compete with the P5.
After the blog drop, Aresco said something to the effect that the conference would 'look into it...'. I think Aresco must have pulled out something in the contract, a promotional requirement or something similar, to force ESPN to create a blog. So ESPN then creates a sham placeholder 'blog', without really doing anything substantial. It's clear ESPN does not really want us to have a legitimate blog, (especially visible in the classless manner they took the blog away) or we'd have a now blogger. Or at a minimum a few AAC articles every now and then...
In a sane world, or if ESPN had a brain, the occupy movement would have been a reason to bring back a legitimate blog. It's called customer service, followed by profit. But a monopoly does not care about customer service, it cares about it's personal agenda.
My 2 cents.

Great point. Unfortunately for us. All five conferences decided to de value the big east(old) since we are in g5 land ESPN doesn't want to acknowledge us and then have to acknowledge MWC, etc too.obviously the better number is 6 in the power conference realm. Aresco just needs to make sure we end up as 6 in p5 and we are all good:). Easier said than done

There was an old blog on SBNation named "Big East Coat Bias". If you have among your numbers a couple of decent writers you should contact them about re-purposing that blog.
SBNation is not ESPN but their traffic is pretty respectable and the platform for writing (and for commenting) is even better
For an example of a good SBNation all conference blog check out HustleBelt ( http://www.hustlebelt.com/) or Mountain-West Connection ( http://www.mwcconnection.com/)

That was pretty much a Rutgers-centric blog.

The American has a stipulation in the contract that could potentially see us raise our revenue from ESPN. What ESPN is doing is intentionally trying to sabotage the conference so that they keep the American on the cheap. It's crooked as hell, and I can't wait until the ESPN monopoly is finally broken.

So basically the AAC will be mentioned in the "others" blog.

Yep. Wait until you hear the live programming once the season starts... you will hear next to nothing about the conference for the most part (as if it does not exist) other than to bash the conference when the opportunity presents itself.
