Looks like Houston is planning on adapting the logo to their color scheme at least. Glad someone is taking advantage of that.

I see pricing and seating chart. I using Chrome to view this but also use FF if needed to view web sites. For example, General admission is $140. I didn't know it cost that much for college football these days.03-weeping

RE: Coogs release new stadium seating chart, pricing
Notice how very similar the layout is compared to the first leaked rendering back last November. This rendering more clearly shows how very close to the field the Cougar fans in the lower bowl will be after accounting for the mandatory buffer zones:

Here's a couple of stadiums by comparison:

1. Charlotte's new stadium was designed by the same team used by UH (DLR Group). For some reason, Charlotte wanted a bunch of space between the buffer zones and the inner retaining wall. Not a fan.

2. TCU's sideline fans are very close to the field like UH, but their lower bowl end zone fans are not. For some reason, TCU left a ton of room in the end zones during their renovation.

I think those are season ticket prices.

Correct. Our baseline reserved season ticket price is $200. Seats in better locations require an additional Cougar Pride donation, ranging from $25 per seat to $550 per seat depending on location and amenities (i.e. chair back).

General admission in the upper end zone grandstands is $140 for the season with no Cougar Pride donation required. 4-seat family plans in those GA end zones go for $299 for the season, which is quite a bargain.

Ah....because schools (and pro teams) can sell SIDELINE SEATS at much higher prices than they can end zone seating.

TCU was smart...and they had the room to make their sideline sections much larger than their end zone sections.

Same price as SMU to sit in C109 (SMU tickets are cheaper but donation is higher)

Actually, TCU left the lower few rows of the old stadium intact, saving on demolition and construction costs but eliminating the possibility of making the end zones tighter

I figured that was the reason. But they had no trouble raising the money for their project. Seems like they could have fixed the end zones if they really wanted to.
