What kind of condition is the ground in? What kind of scoring do you expect to see take place and will Merion hold it's on?

Enjoy the tourny! I will be at the US Open at Pinehurst next year. I was able to attend The Masters (the Friday round) this year and if the US Open is 1/2 as awesome as that was, it will be pretty special.

I appreciate the "700level" mention; I will definitely check it out.

Give us updates throughout the week. I hope that the course can dry out but it does not look good.
