UCF Women's Track & Field just finished a school best, #5 in the Nation at the NCAA Championships...and as a CUSA program, its the best ever finish for a "non-BCS" program since 2000 (when BYU finished 4th).

Good news for UCF is that all of their top sprinters are expected back next year...so hopefully this is just the beginning!

3rd place in Women's Long Jump: 6 pts

2nd (8 pts) and 4th place (5 pts) in Women's 100 Meters

2nd place (8 pts) in Women's 4 x 100 meter replay

3rd place (6 pts) and 7th place (2 pts) in Women 200 Meters

Some of those races were held yesterday just 30-60 mins apart...so some UCF runners (and others) didn't get much rest inbetween races.

Easily UCF Track's best finish ever...and the best for a non-BCS school since 2000.
