What game are you looking forward to the most?
Of course the best game of the year for me is UConn at SMU in November. But other than that, these are the games I'm most looking forward to:
For UConn ... Michigan at UConn in September. We don't get opportunities and national attention like this every week. UConn has to make the most of it. I just wish UConn still had our four defensive players that were drafted in the first three rounds this year.
For SMU ... Texas Tech at SMU in September. This is the first game for Tech's new coach, and SMU's QB Gilbert is back for a second year, so this might be a win that SMU can pull off.
One of the best posts I've ever seen ... when Tech visited SMU a few years ago, a poster on the SMU site wondered what the over and under would be on the number of 1980's Chevy Camaros we'd see when the Tech fans showed up in Dallas. Lots of rust and drooping headliners.

South Carolina at UCF. A good showing in this game would go a long way, especially if USC does well in the SEC.

I think we're all looking forward to the games in this new conference, but those OOC games mean so much to our programs and our conference.
We want street cred.

Purdue, Illinois, Houston, SMU Rutgers, and Louisville. Two current Big Ten members, one future member, arch rival and future ACC member Louisville, plus the two old school Southwestern Conference members.

Homecoming vs UNT, my away game trip to UTSA.
But our schedule is REALLY bad. When your biggest marquee opponents are Syracuse, LA Tech and ECU you know you scheduled down.

I'm going to that game. I've watched that game since childhood. I grew up in Tulsa.

RE: What game are you looking forward to the most?
I honestly am looking forward to EVERY game this season. There is not a single game that UC can "sleep on," every team (except for the FCS game against NW State and hopefully that is a chance to run some plays that we don't always get to run) is a dangerous game. If everything goes well, the last game against Louisville on Dec. 5 will be a top-15 matchup of unbeatens.

Opening game vs Duke. Should have a good crowd of about 45k, which we haven't had since the DeAngelo days. Conference play will be tough but if we can steal the first game against Duke we have a good shot at starting the season 3-0!
