It was in that meeting that Gee, a Mormon, talked about the Big Ten courting Notre Dame for membership, saying, "You just can't trust those damn Catholics." Gee also made jokes about schools in the SEC, saying, "When [the SEC] can learn how to read and write, then they can figure out what we're doing." He even made comments about Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany, saying, "We need to make sure [Delany] keeps his hands out of our pockets while we support him."


This guy is hilarious! I think it's funny he got in hot water mostly because of the Catholic joke but I think the SEC remark was outstanding! It's funny the SEC media is not up and arms about this and writing scathing reports or editorials...oh that's right, they can't read or write...FOOTBALL! ROLL TIDE! WAR EAGLE! I jest.
