Now that I think about it, the Cougars should be in the B12 so the Houston students and citizens could see their Aggies or Longhorns play at "home" at least once a year. The Cougars 27K attendance average is impressive for a school of 41K students in a city of 6 million people! That's like a 4 thousandths of 1% rate! What's your secret?

AAC =ACC lite easily mistaken for each other

SBC = SEC lite

MWC =PAC 12 lite

MAC = B1G lite

C-USA = Big 12 lite



maybe this means the SBC will eventually be the sixth best football conference.

I hated those questions. To me it reads that the SBC is at a certain level to the MAC as the SEC is at a certain level to the B1G.

Which would work if you assume that the SEC > B1G. That would mean the SBC > MAC. Is that what you mean?

It isn't wise for a former Division 2 school to start talking smack, esp to a school like Houston. Also considering that in our worst seasons, the attendance still outdraws a packed stadium in Nowhere, Georgia.

Keep in mind that our stadium only seated 32k before we tore it down and are currently building a new palace in time for our 2014 season. You may have been the big boys in D2 but you're at the very bottom in FBS so get used to learning your new role.

THey moved up to FBS which is what used to be called Division IA. They used to be in FCS which was Division 1AA. Division 2 is something diffferent.

I know hillbillies can't count but 27-33k =/= 21-22k.

Since we sold it out consistently, we're currently building a 40-45k seat stadium with capabilities to expand to 60k. Get out of your little league mindset and do some research on big boy football.

No because even though the regular SBC guys are taking the thread CK made in a tongue-in-cheek manner, App State and GSU guys think just because they were the big boys in D2, FCS or whatever the little league is called, thinks they can bare their fangs at any FBS school. They need to realize they are nowhere close to Houston and most of them seem to be smart enough to realize that talking smack to a AAC or higher school isn't a good idea.
