Well...$100 for a rifle /$130 for 440 rounds of ammo....pretty good value for a rifle pretty accurate to 500 yards with no scope. Of course, it's heavy and is kinda like shooting a 2x4 which hates you....

Not to mention that ammo comes in containers reminiscent of a spaghettios can.

RE: What handguns do you own?
When I left military service I said I'd never pick up another firearm and I've come close to keeping my word on that. My father gave me a .22 rifle when I was very, very young and I've picked it up and packed it when we've moved from one house to another....and that's the only firearm I've touched since the military.

Don't like action, Mauser is so much smoother to operate, JMO.

Mine was free!04-cheers

Well most of mine fire arms were free, from my Grandfather. He served in WWII, 10th Armored Div. 3rd Army under Gen. Patton. Needless to say he came home with several souvenirs.

What are you shooting?

I like the Springfield XD. Fits my hand better than a Glock. And I like the grip safety feature.

And it's hard to beat Kahr for small and concealable.

Never bought a .380 or smaller.

My ex has a Sig Sauer P238 Diamond Plate. Nice little compact.
