That's not an accurate comparison. Not every C-USA team will be 3-5 in conference. Someone will do well. Somneone will win 2-3 OOC games. It is unrealistic to suggest 12-14 teams will beat up on each other and all go 4-4 with one or less OOc wins.

Yes, the MAC model should help create more eligible teams. For 2013 they will have how many teams that can play in a bowl, 10? Think it is a stretch to think that less than 6 will be bowl eligible?

Honestly, I have no idea how many teams are in CUSA this season. I just know that almost all of them were bad last year. Maybe a lot of them will improve this year.

If you're talking '13 ECU & Tulsa will still be there as well.

2003 6 of 11 CUSA members eligible(3 more a win away)
2004 5 of 11 CUSA members eligible(2 more a win away)
2005 6 of 12 CUSA members eligible(3 more a win away)
2006 6 of 12 CUSA members eligible(2 more a win away)
2007 6 of 12 CUSA members eligible
2008 6 of 12 CUSA members eligible(1 more a win away)
2009 6 of 12 CUSA members eligible(2 more a win away)
2010 6 of 12 CUSA members eligible(2 more a win away)
2011 5 of 12 CUSA members eligible(2 more a win away)
2012 5 of 12 CUSA members eligible(2 more a win away)

Moving forward with 14 members CUSA will have 7 eligible members more often than they'll have 5.

And yet 5 of them still managed to make it to the postseason.

The Sun Belt isn't getting into the Music City bowl and I don't see Nashville adding a 2nd bowl game.

I had no idea that Tulsa and ECU had to stick around one more year. Not much outside of those two but at least you guys are one of the top teams left!

Would make for a nice short drive. Guess you guys think the same thing. Do like it, one of the few bowls that the SEC has a losing record in though.

Yeah, St. Pete is probably our best bet. I'm fine with that too, the Beef O' Brady Bowl would be a perfect third tie in.

New Orleans Bowl
GoDaddy.com Bowl
Beef O' Brady Bowl

Not a bad lineup.
03-thumbsup

BTW, our local sportstalk radio noon show was talking about Montgomery adding a Sun Belt vs. MAC bowl game in the newly renovated Crampton Bowl downtown. That would be great!
