The NCAA has ruined sports.

That seems really stupid and arbitrary. Then again, it's the NCAA so stupid and arbitrary is what they do best. What are they going to do next? Ban wearing the color green on a green field because it gives an unfair advantage?

I didn't write the following, I lifted it elsewhere

A hash tag is simply a way for people to search for tweets that have a common topic. For example, if you search on #LOST (or #Lost or #lost, because it's not case-sensitive), you'll get a list of tweets related to the TV show. What you won't get are tweets that say "I lost my wallet yesterday" because "lost" isn't preceded by the hash tag.

Good, they looked tacky as hell.

Syracuse utilized Twitter pretty well last season. They had "#orangenation" on the court and field. They'd then run tweets which had the hash tag, which likely went through screening first, on the ribbon board going around the stadium.

Typical NCAA fashion. Most of the football players I know have twitters and like to use them. I'm sure it got them excited when a school was pushing a certain hashtag and they got to see all of the fans tweeting at them. #ohwell #lame #uselessforumhashtag #GoPirates.
