On point #2 GS offense does have a cult following. Georgia Southern is a member of the Sun Belt therefore if we are going to become the rulers of the conference football world we should also control the conferences board. it is only right. Now if other conference members do not want GS poster to take over the board they should just post more.

What relation do u have with both Ga southern and Troy?

I grew up and Auburn fan and Erk Russell who was an Auburn grad was one of my father favorite coaches even though he was at Georgia when I first learn about him from my father. My father would always point out coach Russell to me when the bulldogs came to the plains. Coach Russell went to Georgia Southern about the same time that my father died.

When my nephew signed with GS in 2009 I restarted following GS and have been following ever since.

I graduated from Troy in 1982, Phenix City Campus. 2 years ago for a high school game was the first time that I had ever been on Troy's main Campus. My graduation from Troy was held at Fort Benning.

I did attend Troy's spring game in the mid 70' that was played in Lanett. I believe Charlie Bradshaw was Troy's head coach at the time.

It was my fist post.....Sory but:
(1)The title “OFFENSE” in a prior was ambiguous.
(2) Most of the posters were incorrect when they doubt our passing game.

Welcome to the board! And don't worry... stick around for a bit. Almost every thread turns into discussion on Georgia Southern and their offense and how they are going to run through this conference from day one.

I understand the sarcasm a bit because if I were a fan of another team and heard some of the GSU stuff I may be too. On the other hand I have witnessed Southerns Ga Power Co offense from the start back in 82, and I can say that not even the Fla states, Floridas, Georgias, Alabamas (just ask bama about the 300 yrds their championship D gave up to Southern 2 years ago on the ground) and others in BCS have been able to stop Georgia Southerns ground attack over the years. Now winning is going to be a different story in the Sunbelt. I do think that Southern will fare well at the Sunbelt level but I also wont be surprised if they struggle some first. I do know that GSU's offense is evolving some this spring to look somewhat like the Oregon offense to have a better passing attack. I believe Southern will be competitive in the Sunbelt early but competitive doesnt equal to wins so we will see.

Yes and Ark st has thought they same way before not so long ago. I remember facing them back in 86, of course though you guys are much more talented now.

Your record in FCS is impressive. But you'll be FBS soon, and those titles in FBS mean... well, nothing.

I love this stuff. Most of these sunblet teams have been in FBS for what 10 years or so maybe less for some. Many that were in FCS before and never were even playoff competitive yet now the have moved up to the FBS level they have been able to get the Top Prospects, and now a few years later are so different that teams like App and Southern better look out! News flash fellas.......the mighty sunbelt aint much a whole heck of alot different talent wise than the top of the FCS. Sorry.

Sorry SunBelt extreemist. I just had to get that option offense thing off my chest. I'll try to drink less before I post and consintrate more on making psudo friends, like Panama, on this new and exciting site.

1. No need to get all wound up their MTP. You'll find the Eagle Empire
treats their subjugated teams well.
2. And what type of cookie cutter offense does MTPiKapp's team run?
While you're not interested in the Spread Option, I am interested in all our new opponents offensive styles.

But since we're on that subject , I think you should take that displaced anger of yours into your own hands, complete a vigorous work out, drink a 6er and then try posting. You're just too high strung.
