I'm hoping for the same thing on our end. I would just hate to lose to Ga Southern in ANY sport. 05-stirthepot

I've spent a fair amount of time around Troy. Been to a few games here and there to visit friends that go there during GS away weekends. Look forward to getting back over there

Edit: I actually own a Troy shirt back home.

That's cool man. When you make the trip let me know, I'd be happy to host you for a tailgate.

I can't wait to get it on with all of the Sun Belt schools. Nothing but respect and I'm looking forward to the increased level of competition.

But... who the hell is UALR? Do we play you in badminton or something?

Who in the hell is Georgia Southern?

I knew of UALR long before you. So slow your role.

Well, I tried to be nice but...UALR is the non football school that will be wiping the floor with your team in basketball every time we meet. Just like we used to do we were conference mates before. We're every bit a member of this conference as anyone else. Show some respect.

Touchy, touchy aren't we. It was a joke, damn. Didn't you read the badminton reference? I didn't realize all the Sun Belt folks were on their period at the same time.

Unfortunately, I don't doubt this one bit. Our current basketball leaves something to be desired and then some. Hopefully we can step it up.

One day... but I bet (hope) he and I could still share a beverage at tailgate. After the no holds barred cage match that is. 04-chairshot

One of my favorite memories of Georgia Southern basketball was in my junior year, when UALR lost big time to the Eagles in Hanner and Mike Newell's face was redder than this :muttering:

Looking forward to renewing old acquaintances !

Great times. It always seemed like GaSo was the only team that could ever give us any consistent competition. Georgia State never could! 05-stirthepot
