Read this. I don't want to be in conference with the likes of this.

I was thinking the same thing when I first read about this. It's really sad, I had an "ethics" professor that railed on Jesus and Judeo-Christian philosophy, pissed off nearly the whole class, but no mention of Islam. I was very disappointed. At least he didn't make us stomp on Jesus' name.

Seems a little far fetched. We're obviously not getting the entire story here.

You should mark Oklahoma off the expansion list too.

There wasn't anything being "stomped on"

I actually like the excercise... people need to not be so sensitive.

Here's a better quote, rather than using the aggressive word "stomping"

"Have the students write the name JESUS in big letters on a piece of paper,” the lesson reads. “Ask the students to stand up and put the paper on the floor in front of them with the name facing up. Ask the students to think about it for a moment. After a brief period of silence instruct them to step on the paper. Most will hesitate. Ask why they can’t step on the paper. Discuss the importance of symbols in culture."

There was wrongdoing of some sort. The school issued an apology. Why apologize if they did nothing wrong?

What?

Well a little research will show that the guy who wrote this is a professor at Oklahoma. So in jest I said we should also mark Oklahoma off the expansion list, you know since we are theoretically punishing FAU for this.

Doesn't sound right at all. Doesn't seem like the full story.

Would they do that exercise with Muhammad on the paper?

Liberal pu**ies would never do anything to offend Muslims.
