That is my point. We do not need to throw more money at Josh. He is a great guy and might be a great coach one day.

I do grow weary of the pro v. anti-Pastner (for lack of a better term) debate. As usual, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. He's earned a small raise and an extra year.

RE: CA: Tigers looking to extend Pastner
But I thought we were going to fire him. He just hasn't contributed enough for the money he has already made. He doesn't have great coaching skills and the assistants he hired are awful especially the big man coach. Not a good bench coach. If the AD gives this guy a raise he needs to be fired!

NOT!!!!!

I'm very happy to see the university step it up for Coach Pastner. He has done a fine job and deserves to be rewarded for the time, energy, effort, and yes results of a good coach.

I post here don't I. Just like you so we're all one dysfunctional family.

Top 25 wins help with seeding, and seeding helps with advancing so theres some importance. However you can advance without a top seed so again lipstick.

Do you disagree?

Let's do this! Lock him in! We have shown improvement each year under Josh. Between his character and the on the court results, this should be a no-brainer.
