Our team was absolute garbage at the end of 2012 and you still couldn't beat us. Even FAU beat us and you STILL lost to us. And your record against us is just silly. But hey, when you're a fan of a school like UNT, I suppose you have to cling to wins over transitional FBS programs.

Point was that you barely escaped with a 1 point win over a team you describe as horrible. That doesn't really say much good about the Toppers does it ? We're just recovering from a bad coaching hire, but will be fine. Have a nice day

unt has been trying to play big time football for that last 50 or 60 years. they have played the big boys and have had many players go on to long and illustrious careers in the pros since I was a kid. the big turning point for them in my view was back in the late 50's when texas tech got into the sw conference and not nt state..probably blocked by smu and tcu..the rest is history..tech has excelled and untexas has had to scramble for recognition..they were a teachers college and are still a more artsy-fartsy type school and it is tough for them to generate a large base of fanatic fans...I bet if they had soccer and lacrosse they would be pretty good..
