Congrats all MT fans, things are falling your way. Life on the bubble is not easy to stomach.

There is nothing better than Selection Sunday and hearing your name called. Your fans deserve to have that happen after a great year.

WKU was the 66th team (Field of 65) in 2006 (accoding to the committee). We lost in the SBC Semis after Courtney Lee broke his hand a few days before the SBC tournament. It is really hard to get in over "BCS" teams no matter what non-BCS league you play.

It will be nice to have 2 SBC teams in the tournament and will be the 2nd time in 6 years. Not too bad for the SBC....

You may be in Dayton for the 12-12 play-in game. I think WKU has enough to at least get to a regular 16 or 15 seed.

Can't wait until Sunday...

And ironically, it'll be other Conference Tournament play that may enable MT to get it because a supposed weaker team got hot.

Not counting any chickens yet. Still some potential party crashers.

As a MT fan, I'm happy with the results of these other tournaments for the most part, but a columnist/humorist for the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the late Lewis Grizzard once wrote a book titled 'They Tore Out My Heart and Stomped That Sucker Flat'. I believe, think we'll get in, but still fear the NCAA selection committee might tear out my heart and stomp that sucker flat on Sunday. Any confidence expressed by an experienced MT fan is sort of like whistling past the graveyard.

I'm not counting on it but situation sure looks better.

No way MTSU is not in.....UK should be out, Virgina out, Lasalle out.. Everything MTSU needed they got today....They deserve to be in and will be in..

Having some health issues currently so I'm on antibiotics, not being able to have any green beer on Sunday is going to sting, but hearing our name called will more than make up for it.

MT is in...BOOK IT!! That is all.

If these things happen today it takes most of the suspense out of selection sunday for MT.

An Alabama loss to Florida

An Umass loss to VCU

An Usm loss to Memphis

A Maryland loss to UNC

A Vandy loss either against Ole Miss/Florida

There are going to be a couple of surprise teams in and out this year. I'm not confident that the Red Raiders are in until their name is announced

USM - 5 Top 100 wins, 1 bad loss. Took Memphis to 2OT in Conference Championship. Rpi currently 29

MT - 1 Top 100 win, 2 bad losses. Lost in semi's of conference tournament. Rpi currently 31

I think they'll get some consideration after what they did to Memphis today.

Another to consider is UMASS....up 9 on VCU right now in Semi's of A10. 10 top 100 wins, only 2 bad losses. If they beat VCU, they play St. Louis in conference championship tomorrow. That'd be another that could mess up MT's chances. Getting interesting.

If S.Miss can't get in being the 2nd place school in CUSA with 25 wins what makes anyone (muts) think it's going to get better when Memphis is gone?

If Akron was to lose to Ohio would they still get in giving the MAC two spots?

Southern Miss would be in if they hadn't lost to Marshall. Losing to teams with a 200+ RPI is very very bad.
