Notice how the big fan bases are separated by smaller fan bases so that the bigger fanbases can expand as the tournament progresses.

Way to go BC quite the comeback, anyone feel either of these programs can make a run in the next few years??? They both played Miami well, GT actually beating them.

Boston College 11 of 20 from 3 (55%) including Oliver Hanlan being 7 of 9 from 3 with 35 points.

GT has no true PG to answer. Or apparent perimeter defense to prevent.

RE: ACC Men's BB Tournament 2013
Guard Comparison

BC
Olivier Hanlan 13 of 17 FG, 7 of 9 3PT, 5 of 6 FT, 5 REB, 2 AST, 2 PF, 38 pts
Patrick Heckmann 4 of 9 FG, 2 of 5 3PT, 0 of 0 FT, 4 REB, 2 AST, 3 PF, 10 pts
Joe Rahon 4 of 8 FG, 3 of 5 3PT, 0 of 0 FT, 3 REB, 7 AST, 0 PF, 11 pts

GT
Chris Bolden 0 of 6 FG, 0 of 4 3 PT, 2 of 4 FT, 3 REB, 0 AST, 2 PF, 2 pts
Jason Morris 2 of 2 FG, 1 of 1 3PT, 0 of 0 FT, 1 REB, 1 AST, 1 PF, 5 pts
Solomon Poole 0 of 1 FG, 0 of 1 3PT, 0 of 0 FT, 0 REB, 0 AST, 1 PF, 0 pts
Brandon Reed 2 of 5 FG, 1 of 2 3PT, 0 of 0 FT, 2 REB, 0 AST, 1 PF, 5 pts
Mfon Udofia 2 of 8 FG, 1 of 2 3PT, 0 of 1 FT, 3 REB, 3 AST, 0 PF, 5 pts

Phrased differently ... Hanlan is 200% more effective than GT's entire pool of 5 guards.

Crazy performance by Hanlan, when I heard he won ROY, I was like who? But now this young man is trending nationally on twitter. Perhaps if BC can get some other players to contribute next year??

He's no world beater. He has averaged 10.8 points a game over 30+ minutes.

GT simply played THAT awful. They ended the year with their back to back worst loses of the season. They phoned it in after Miami.

While far from great, I have saw glimpses from both teams this year, I remember the glory days of when it was a great anticipation to watch a ranked GT and Duke or UNC, i'd like to see that again

Of course they'd set up a likely UMD/Duke game in round two.

RE: ACC Men's BB Tournament 2013
NC State is looking very good. Hopefully Howell can recover from his injury, Wood stays hot and Calvin keeps his head. Miami vs State should be a good game.

It is nice to hear that Duke got beat, even if it is by Maryland. Now if FSU can knock off UNC-Ch.
