This makes Sam 5-2 against SB members/future members. We go to Rice on Tuesday and we get UCONN here in Huntsville this weekend, not that anyone cares, but those should be some good matchups. Rice/SHSU seems to be building into a good series these last couple of years. We knocked them out in last years regionals.

Good series, I hope I get another chance to see this tough ASU team again!

uta beat #12 oklahoma 6-1 off to texas tech this weekend

ASU beats Tenn Martin 9-0 Tuesday in a last second rainout makeup, but the bad news is that our best defensive infielder, and one of our top returning hitters Zach George, tore his ACL in the Sam Houston State series, and is out for the season.

Thankfully we caught him just in time to be able to get a redshirt in...but its a big loss for this year. We dont have much depth on the infield with two guys out for the season right now.
