Your pres. along with all the other newbie pres. will be there tomorrow. Do you really think your interests are not going to be looked out for. I'm sure all of you will get a vote/say in the matter.

Sure, why not, at least we'll all start on equal footing, it'll probably just end up being us in 2-3 years anyway.

Again, those schools are going to make more money, and play better competition than any other option.

It's going to be 5-10 years before any of our schools make money because we still have exit fees to deal with.

Dude,
One thread for you to vent that new teams should not join wasn't enough, so you had to start two today?

And USF, Cincy, and Uconn pull off the rape by selling the name and exit fees before we join instead of 2014. Oh but we get NCAA tourney $$$, no. We get exit $$$, no. We get the Big East name, no.

SMU is paying $7,000,000 to leave CUSA and paying $2,500,000 to join the whatever we are called conference. I don't see how this is a good deal. Our President has been adamant about maintaining an eastern focus which I support (from an academic aspect) as the students from the east coast tend to require less financial aid. At $40,000 a year that adds up.
