This guy definitely needs a proof reader! There are a number of errors and poorly worded sentences. Was he in a rush to get this out to press?

He must be in a hurry to get it out, but according to him, Marquette is one of the choices to get an invite!

I got a good feeling about Marquette. I hope they make it in!

looking more and more like 2013 as I've been predicting.

hadn't thought about it though thru the prism of the schools coming in July- if Cincy, UConn, Temple, and USF pocket all the money- wow that is screwed up in a lot of ways. Makes me really wonder if the conference ever survives.

Those guys are awfully salty about something that was always bound to happen.

Did anyone actually ever even entertain the thought that we wouldn't retain the name?

It was a possibility. But it was never likely.

They would have had to leave money on the table to keep the name, AND the pre-nup language has to be in their favor (allowing them to refuse money for the name, without having to pay us to give up the name.)

The delusion on the Big East board runs high.
