Georgetown vs. Syracuse
Big Game today not only because of the rivalry but both teams are currently tied for 1st in the Big East Standings and there's only a few games left in BE play. There's also a possibility that this might be the last time both teams will be in the same conference.

So who you got?

RE: Georgetown vs. Syracuse
I got the 'Cuse.

Syracuse plays @ Georgetown to close the regular season, so there's one more meeting as Big East members.

There's a good chance they'll meet again in the BE tourney then perhaps in the NCAA tourney as well.

I thought it was interesting hearing Boehim talk prior to the game....

he basically said that Syracuse will find new rivals and all in the new conference, which makes sense. But, he said something kind of like it's going to be tough for him personally to find new rivals. I know I'm butchering exactly what he said, but boy, it is kind of interesting. Makes you wonder if he might even retire after this year. He is 68. That's the age when you start really looking at getting out.

Putting Ayegba in to start the second half was huge. He was the best big on the floor.

I for the the first time am starting to get that feeling. I hope it doesn't happen but when you consider how much the original Big East meant to him ; who knows?

I kind of had this feeling all along, but thought with time things would maybe change. But the way he said things before the game today really was stark. The words(and I know I didn't do it justice) he used were just amazing(it'd make anyone think he was thinking about leaving before getting in the ACC).

He said something similar after the UConn game. But everyone focused on his "idiot" comment.
