The main value of predictions is that they give people something to laugh about after they don't come true. And as the links in the OP illustrate, there is one particular individual on this website (not Miko) who has generated a virtual comedy-factory of failed predictions.

It's funny to see all of these old threads with the benefit of hindsight, good stuff. Go over to the MACbbs and look at old posts about Miami from 2003, 2004, and 2010, and it just depresses me now...
