If I were the Big East schools, I would have preferred NBC. I think they would have had more games on Saturday that way. There is no telling where ESPN will place the Big East games now.

Sign with ESPN...With Fox having a piece of the Pac 12, Big XII & with the coming SEC Network & possible ACC Network in the end you might have more open slots then you realize. Last and not least...the "Borg" of college athletics in the B1G & the Big Ten Network.

Plus, as the "Old BIG EAST" found out...don't piss off the World Wide Leader...they control all the Bowls and have exclusive right to the Playoffs/Title Game...keep your friends close...your enemies closer.

Yup. At the very least I put together a package of football and basketball games for ESPN. I think its dumb not to have some sort of relationship with a network that runs college football (despite the NCAA's mistaken impression that they do).
