MAC awards
Still early I know, and I'm not not saying he deserves the top spot, but after watching Shayne go head to head with Javon and come out with 23 points, 14 rebounds, no turnovers, 4 steals in a winning effort vs Javon with 22 points 10 rebounds 2 turnovers in a loss. Well that does lead to a discussion at least.
And I add that in the last game vs Miami he got himself into foul trouble and was absent in that game too much, look at what he did in crunch time. He came up huge, with late buckets and free throws when we needed them the most. That is a definition of what MVPs do for their team. Again, in a winning effort.
Also, for discussion alone, Darius for frosh of the year? Any doubt?
Hawk for coach of the year? Hutch for defensive POY?

RE: MAC awards
Shayne looked great with the big dude trying to guard him.
A case could be made that the Bronco MVP is David Brown. This certainly is a different team with him on the floor and I'm looking forward to a rematch with Akron.

I think Darius is the unquestionable leader right now for Frosh of the Year.
Some others up for consideration: Nathan Boothe, Jalen Ross, Blake Hibbitts, Reggie Johnson... I think Darius is far and away above those guys right now. They would have to make a strong push in the second half to catch him IMO.

I am not GBL, or even an EA3 or Jada PinkettSmith, BUT,
Did anyone else think Paul should've been fed a little more last night? There were offensive sets where I thought he would/should get the ball multiple times, and he never did. And he was all class back up the floor when it didn't work out.
The unselfishness is one of many reasons #ajoytowatch is trending on our message board these days. Damn it feels good to be a Bronco.

Matchups dictated at times. If McCrea is guarding him, go to someone else.
I'm shocked we aren't seeing more double teams in the post at this point. Last year it was a given with flen and stain.
