Hi guys I was wondering about how the MAC does in attendance for football, men's basketball and I guess the next most popular sport women's basketball? How does Toledo fair compared to everyone.

I imagine the temperature is warm where you are. Lucky dog.

It is my impression Toledo is top 3 in all these categories. I don't have the numbers, but the fan interest looms big for recruits comparing college venues, and in some cases their high school venues.

Anyone have the numbers?

Somebody said our women's program draws more fans then all but one men's program in the MAC. I think football we are second. Men's basketball second or third. I am really curious on who is near the bottom and how bad is it?

In football, OU was #1, and UT #2, the only 2 teams to average over 20K. EMU was far and away the least, with <5K.

In MBB, OU is far and away #1 this season, at over 6K, UT is #2, at over 4K. EMU is last, the only school under 1K, but NIU and MU are not that far ahead.

It is true that the women have a higher average home attendance (3925) than all but two men's programs, Ohio (6153) and UT (4270). Worst men's attendance is EMU (947).

Second highest for the women is BG at 1641. Worst for the women is EMU at 349.

The women's BB program would be #7 in the Big 10 ahead of Ohio St. and Michigan.
