This can be another tough game for UT. Akron is unpredictible and has a nice record but also played some weak teams. Losing to WMU doesn't say much for them but it was at WMU. This loss could also make them come after us so we have to watch out. This is there court and they have some good players. I plan on going and wondering who else is going or is everybody staying home for the men.

I miss the days when the men and women would play on the same day. We didn't have to choose which team to follow. We're staying home with the men.

This year seems like the first time in years that we don't have a men/women double header. Those were always great afternoons. The only way to make the double headers better is to have the same schools playing in both games - that way more fans might travel to the game when they are away because they can see both men and women play.

Other MAC schools don't travel, because they don't have fan bases......

In my mind there are three Savage Arena's:(especially for Womens B-Ball)
1. Savage Arena Main - In Toledo
2. Savage Arena North - Eastern Michigan
3. Savage Arena South - Bowling Green

We are going to the game in Akron. Nice that the Lady Rockets are finally playing close enough that I can actually attend a game!

The "Doublewide"

That arena at BGSU is really lacking. They should have done it right. Too bad a missed opportunity.

I'm not claiming the "Garbage Pit", "Doublewide" just the fact that we have more fans than the home team at those locations (especially EMU).

Akron has thre players that score over 14 pts per game and lead us in almost every stat category in conference play stats. They are also 3-1. This may be a big win if we can get it

I almost feel bad giving an opinion, since I am no where near the great supporter as many other..but..with having Nama back ..this UT team has the two best coaches in the league. One on the sidelines , one on the floor.
That is worth a lot.
We handle the Rubbers easily.

Toledo lost to WMU last season on the road by 3, and won at home by +10. Hard to say how good Akron is, but they have 12 wins so it will boost our RPI! I think we win by 13.

Probably a good game early, but if I was putting money on this I would go Rockets all the way.

One other thing, CMU fan here, but it has been a real pleasure to watch Naama the last several years. That young lady has real talent, and is a class act both on and off the court. I won't miss having to play her, but I sure will miss seeing her play when she is done.
