Sounds like this might be a record breaking overtime game. They may have to flip a coin at the end and declare a winner just to end the misery. Our 2 walkons are football players. One has played several minutes in the last few games.

One of our walk-ons went to Nicholls State last year as a freshman but didn't play basketball. He transferred to UL to just go to school. One of our ex players told him he should ask to walk on, which he did in the fall and with our numbers he made the roster.

Both our walkons started with the basketball team after the bowl game on Dec 26th, 2012. Evidently they were decent bball players in high school, 4 years ago.

Jakes has left team to concentrate on his budding future pro football career.... So we are down to one football player...

If I remember correctly, the Cajuns only needed 2 players on the last play to score. One was used to inbound the basketball.

(It was to make up for the fact that the Cajuns have played 9 times in Diddle since 2000 with only 5 games in the Cajundome over the same time span.)

On a more serious note...WKU wins easily if they can get Shawn Long in foul trouble. Without him the Cajuns are SERIOUSLY undersized.

Not sure how many UNT scholarship players will dress tonight. My guess is 7 or 8.
