Rock Hudson had an "internet girlfriend."

There is speculation that he is gay so he created his imaginary girlfriend to hide his gayness. Not that there is anything wrong with that (being gay that is).

Internet speculation about an internet relationship, which didn't even exist.

we need to go back to smoke signals and drums. At least it would take us longer to create all this damage.

Correct me if I am wrong - but didn't this whole thing start with him saying he met her outside the Rose Bowl after a Notre Dame win over Stanford. He supposedly stuck out his hand and introduced himself to her according to one of the articles I had read. Now another NFL player who is Samoan claimed to have met her and even described what she looked like. Had a friend with him who verified that meeting.

I don't know what to believe on this - other than I don't believe more than a 1/4 of what I read in the news anymore related to scandalous affairs and relationships. I keep thinking back to how badly the media handled the entire Jon Benet Ramsey case and had the whole country ready to lynch her parents. I can somewhat see how this could happen, but the guy would have to be incredibly naive. I can't understand why he would not have boarded a plane at some point to go meet her - especially after a car accident and her then being diagnosed with cancer. At the least - bad judgement to talk about this person in the national media. At worst - he's a strange dude with some serious issues. As hinted at above you gotta wonder if the guy (Tuiososopo - sp?) linked to the Lennay Kekua fake existence was involved with Te'o beyond just the hoax.

He claims that he was not part of the hoax, then in the next breath says that he lied to his father about having met her. Hardcore loser in my opinion. I mean, if you will lie to your father about meeting a girl, what else would you lie about - and to whom? He needs to just crawl away out of the limelight. He has no integrity at all.
