Could someone explain how I attach a photo to a post.
I have tried new attachment and choose file but the photo never shows up.

You have to upload the photo to a free photo sharing site (photobucket.com is a good one) then you can link the photo in your post.

I was able to "attach" the picture files to a message and then "insert" them into the message. They only appear as links you have to click to "download" the pictures to view them, not as inline pictures, but at least that beats trying to deal with finding some flaky freebie picture site somewhere.

Why they allow us to attach files to messages on here yet not insert pictures is beyond me. I'm still scratching my head on that one. I can even insert a picture into my signature, yet not a message? lol

one may use the attachment to upload an image then make a post and then edit the post using the url of the attachment to insert the image in the post

While we are on this subject can someone tell me (again) how to insert a photo in my signature. I tried but I came out with my twitter account or something showing a link to the picture as the signature I think.
