He is hiding behind a written press release. Josh had to find out that Bowen had changed his mind from a phone call from Parrish. That's piss poor. Apparently he changed his mind on Josh without, you know, telling Josh.

At this point....Memphis can't afford to loose CJP...football is too fragile.....there is program slippage.

Josh is gone first chance he gets-lateral move or better, And he will eventually get one.

And no one will want the job because of the terrible AD and the even worse conference.

Bowen under cutting Josh is low down. Josh may prove to not be the right coach for this job, but the last thing I want to see out of our AD is to see him under cut one of our coaches. Its piss poor and low down.

Really, that is my take on it. Did Bowen tell Josh to go out and announce the conclusion of the UT series and that he would never play them again as long as he was head coach and had anything to do with the scheduling? I seriously doubt it.

Once again Josh should have learned after the Ole Miss incident to not go out and say something that might change.

This is completely irrelevant. None of this **** should have ever made it to the media. It's unprofessional and makes our entire athletic department appear as though run by 7th graders.
