Its not that close....UL is about 2 hours from New Orleans.
TROY took about 27k to Mobile a few years ago. and we are 2.5hours from Mobile

I hate losing too, but relax a bit. The Cajuns outdraw most of your conference mates.
anyway.... i'm pretty angry and bitter right now. our defensive showing is pathetic. i shouldve expected it by now. we've got to get rid of this incompetent baffoon.

A lot of our alumni including myself live in the NOLA area. I'm one of the few that venture back to Lafayette. Keep winning and you will see that at Cajun Field.

You realize the game was pushed forward due the NFL game that was moved to Saturday night, right?
Look at the bright side, as it just gave us more time to party afterward. However, due to the extra time, I only lasted until 3 AM. Damn, I must be getting old!

Yea we probably have more than any other place except Lafayette, and surrounding parishes.
Before the Louisiana outmigration from of the turn of the century in the state, and especially in the metro New Orlean area, along with the North Shore there are fewer than four thousand alumni in metro New Orleans, or the North Shore parishes combined. New Orleans was very hard hit, but most alumni in metro New Orleans live in Jefferson Parish, and the North Shore Parishes (all boarder Lake Ponchartrain) and only thirty=-five miles from New Orleans, or Jefferson or less.
I was the guy responsible for parties at the Super Dome when we played TooLame. Granted that was a long time ago, but the official numbers are way down.
I will not go into all the anti fan coaches and decisions made by the former president, and the tepid decisions made by the current president and athletic director.

I would think that UL has more alumni in the NO metro area than Tulane does!!!

No way. But we got more fans. Most of the TooLame grads are not football fans, or any fans.
Well, we know that Louisiana doesn't have that problem of not having any fans!
Great win and fantastic bowl attendance. You guys did Louisiana and the Sun Belt proud!
