I have always felt Turner was involved to get basketball, and was honestly expecting that package to get split up between them and CBS, with ESPN maybe keeping Big Monday. I think with the C7 out, then Turner and CBS are probably out too. Just my opinion though.

I listened and didn't hear anything about an all sports option.

If everyone stays for 27 months, you can't have 20+ basketball conference. Makes no sense.

Have to wait and see when the C7 leave and then make the switch seamlessly.

This. Right now you don't know when the others will be out the door, It is hard to invite until you have some insight.

I'd expect there's a tentative agreement on July 2014, because July 2013 for either side.

I saw the telecast and he did seem upbeat. No reason why the nBE can't be the best of the rest (easily the 6th best conference).

I felt bad for him, well as bad as i can feel for someone in good health and making 99th percentile money, lol ... He keeps proposing new models only to see events beyond his control undercut them.

And it will probably happen again. Its an incredibly shrinking situation.

As weird as it seems, yes, Boise State and San Diego State will go to the Big West for one season, 2013-14, and then join the Big East as full members along with Tulane, ECU, Fresno State, UNLV, and whoever else in 2014-15. Rutgers and Louisville stay in the Big East through 2013-14, the Catholic 7 stay in the Big East through 2013-14, and Maryland stays in the ACC through 2013-14. Everyone gets a new start on July 1, 2014, with the air cleared.

Cinn and UConn want to travel with all their sports to SD and Boise with all their sports? NO WAY

For the millionth time, the only sports that would play teams from both divisions every year is basketball, while football would only play one cross-division game per season. All other sports would only face schools in their division and then everyone would meet for the conference tournament. You know this.
