As for Dunn... I can't fault the guy for being pumped up about the the University... He really has a connection at WMU... he seems like a guided missle sometimes that has lost its telemetry... but he always means well... and puts the University first. Its obvious he is an academics first dean, with a vision for athletics. Just think, not long ago we had Judith Bailey in here wrecking shop on anything she could get her hands on... would you rather have that?

Kathy (for as much frustration as she brought out of me...) also has a vision for this Univesity and the athletic programs. We are not the MSU and UofM's of the state... yet we still put out a top notch Div 1 Hockey Program, Womens and Men's Basketball programs... and a Football program we bleed brown and gold for... It CANNOT be easy to fund ALL of thos programs and expect success on all fronts.. People say EMU has insane money they are dumping into their football coaching staffs... Does EMU have a division 1 hockey program, with a coach the likes of Andy Murray behind the bench... NO... Apples and Oranges there my friends... and even then, they inflate their numbers. I trust Kathy ( and I have to admit this coaching search brought out some venom from me in regards... )... I trust her vision. Lets just hope this hire pans out positively... for all involved.
