Inglorious Bastards is still my choice.

I voted for the NAC, but I like the Metro and makes the think about what could have been with the Super Metro. Metro does have some lingering brand recognition.

Yes, but USM wasn't an original member. Va Tech stayed til the end too.

A directional name wont work for us. Instead of name that decribes where we are, we need a name that decribes WHO we are. We are a collection of some of the bigger better known mid majors from all over the nation.

Lets embrace who we are and claim the niche for ourselves. The "Big Mids Athletic Conference" or "Big Majors Athletic Conference". Ether way, the nickname would be......"Big-MAC".

Yeah, USM is another "DOH, what was I thinking?" moment for me.

Yeah...I think so. However, the Big Ten had 11 teams for a few years, then twelve, and now fourteen. The Big 12 now has ten teams. We should just call ourselves the Big 15 but have sixteen teams instead.

Let's just call ourselves "The Biggest" conference.
