Why do I feel like this is turning into a game of Coaching Musical Chairs and WMU is going to be the player left out?

I mean for crying out loud, we were the first ones to make a move on letting our coach go and while everyone else fills their position all around us, NOTHING seems to be happening at WMU.

This is getting ridiculous.

KB stated that they hoped to have a coach in place by Christmas. Did she not realize that every other school was going to move quickly and fill their position weeks ahead of them?

I still dont think they have a clue as to what they wanted to do. If your going to go with someone from a lower division and give them a shot, most of those guys are now available. If your going to go with a coordinator from a bigger program, we have seen that they are willing to move on rather than wait for their bowl game. (although we cant afford them).

Regardless, this is turning into a more lackluster decision by the day.

Its not the process its the hire. Lets see who we get before we freak out about how long it takes.

I was just addressing the topic of the thread. I don't think you can evaluate a process nor is it important to, until we have a coach hired. I am reserving judgment and would encourage others to do the same until we have more information i.e. a coach. This message board grievance business is petty and ridiculous. I come here to talk Bronco sports no lock in some strange back and forth stemming from god knows what from people with nothing better to do.

Liam, you aren't close enough to the program to be able to "talk Bronco sports".

Just sit back and let DB inform you, he's got the inside scoop. When you get to 20K posts, you can offer your opinion.

Anyways, back to my original post.

I understand what your saying Liam. I'm just completely baffled and dissapointed with the entire process that KB has taken on this one.

If it turns out that we hire Scott Schafer or Brian Rock then I will have to agree with you WW42. if we could have had a coach in place for the last two weeks but went out chasing the wind then the process has to be questioned. But if the name turns out to be someone who has shaken lose subsequently or we were in talks with a Chuck Martin and had to wait it out then I can't really fault KB et al. for taking their time and trying for the best option. That's why I think we need to find out who the hire is.

I've got ten that says DB hits 23,000 posts by Christmas.
