Our culture isn'g changing anytime soon, that's my point. Around here you guys act like this is a coveted gig.

I'd like to see more changes than just coaches.

Regardless of whether your first sentence is right -

It IS a "coveted gig."

First we have good facillities and are in a great place to live. Secondly location leads coaches to believe it's in good recruiting territory.

And we have had just enough success to believe that the next step could be taken.

You have to know that every coach who aspires to be a header thinks they can can win even where it hasn't been done, and in spite of the obstacles.

I'm such a great coach, you just do this, this, and this - and we win! I can do it where it hasn't been done before.

Call it the Jack Harbaugh syndrome.

Cubit as an example. He knew what he was getting into when he took job, having been here before.

Gotta agree with you on this one DB.

I think thats exactly the problem. Every acts like this is a coveted gig. My question would be, WHY?

Why would anyone that we have ever really heard of want to come here?

That said, I have been thinking about this a bit. This Spack guy might be exactly what we need. A up and comer from a lower division that we dont know much about. But that comes in with energy and excitement and turns things around. Might take a year or 2 to get the excitement level that we need to see from the fans, but I have a feeling if someone could come and turn things around it could be fun at Waldo again in the near future.

But like I said, I think it has to be a guy from a level lower rather than all the pipe dream names we keep hearing.
