RE: Go Daddy Bowl
Unbelievable failure on Benson's part to negotiate with Godaddy if this doesn't get done. Work with NO Bowl to nullify the part of their contract requiring them to take champ next year (so they can take Cajuns again or best geography), and give rights to GoDaddy. Just an idea.

RE: Go Daddy Bowl
ASU is not happy from what I understand, especially with the SBC. Malzahn will release a statement shortly talking about how much he loves Mobile, but thats all a lie.

I think we all agree that barring some miracle, Benson hasn't done **** in this bowl stuff. NOLA inviting Cajuns was obvious. Indy inviting ULM after Tech declined was obvious. He hasn't accomplished anything in all of this bowl shuffling except a conference call to piss off MT.
I have to admit, the conference call was funny. Its almost like were voting someone off the island, rather than putting them in a bowl.
If he has any sense, he'll let us go to Liberty. ASU is the Belt's most recognizable team with everyone else leaving. Only way you make us mad is if you are certain we have no choice but to be stuck in the league.
Its not his choice. Its the Go Daddy's. Do you guys know what a contract is?
I tend to believe that a conference could work out a deal. Whats stopping us from saying, "Here, we'll give you MTSU, and ASU gets to Liberty, WKU goes to Detroit, and the I Bowl can have Iowa StatE"
I mean, thats still theoretically possible. La Tech is not going bowling. Their football players are practically confirming that on twitter.
Send Tech to the Hawaii to ply SMU. Like USM last year, they will lose $1M.
