After losing to VCU and Minnesota and struggling to beat Samford and Northern Iowa, Tigers are having more problems this year. Now Tarik Black is sitting out of Thursdays game against UT Martin and is considering transferring. Tigers went through this last year with Joe Jackson.

I still think Pastner will be a good coach, but he does not have the experience or respect to deal with these players. He's got a bunch of go to guys who's egos won't let them play as a team. Everyone is trying to get to the NBA instead of playing team ball.

I will fell really bad for Memphis after we beat them 3 times this year in MBB.

The Squid created this culture there and Peter Brady's left to deal with it.

That culture was around long before Calipari. This city is basketball crazed and put these good players on pedestals at an early age. Those that go to school somewhere else generally do well. Those that stay in Memphis and go to school at Memphis have a ton of distractions. They are treated like demigods everywhere they go and when everyone is telling you are great, why should you listen to some young coach who doesn't curse and hasn't been coaching long.

Calipari didn't have these problems because for the most part, he didn't recruit memphis
