Marshall's Doug Smock is tweeting that WKU to CUSA is happening... (but he has since recanted that statement... for now)

That would be a good add along with MTSU. Still not sure about FAU, but I guess that was to appease FIU with a travel partner.

He's quoting a Tennessean blog post that appears to be a typo.

I see now Smock has recanted. Things are moving so fast now, I think everyone is having trouble keeping up.

I still think it is possible WKU is the next addition. Who else along with them to even things out, I'm not sure.

I don't believe it will happen this go round.

WKU should have been first. FAU is like the Big East adding Tulane. It makes no sense. This is all just stupid now.

It won't matter. I don't think Big East football will be alive in two years any way. The basketball schools are about to say enough is enough and dissolve the whole thing. We will end up in old C-USA. Back where we all started. We will end up in an Alliance in pods. The champions will play and the highest ranked winner gets into the playoff.

Now it's being floated that WKU and New Mexico St are joining up. This has to mean that C*USA is expecting more rapeage. UTEP is likely gone if they're bringing in NMSU.

Thats funny right there, I don't care who you are. You still have to fly into El Paso and drive past UTEP's campus to get to NMSU.

They are just like step siblings that don't get along and still having to share the same room .
