OT: NCAA gives Miami players Friday deadline to talk...or else
Looks like the NCAA is only targeting those Miami players that played in 2011 in regards to their latest investigation (even though there is plenty of evidence to shows SCORES of violations with past Miami players) and gave them a deadline of Friday to talk...or else Shapiro's past statements will be treated as the "truth".

See link for Miami Herald's latest update in regards to the Miami investigation:

Even tho Miami has self imposed scholarships and bowl bans for the last two seasons, could it get worse for them?

Yes. They cheated for 8 years and stepped up the game under recruiter Clint Hurtt. He won recruiter of the year his 1st year at UL. I think he will bite a bullet in this game.

Also, both of Miami's post-season bans were never imposed until the team was 6-5 and in the last week of the season...so they knew odds are, they would play in a crappy bowl.

What this did was keep those eligible Seniors from transferring for their last season...all because Miami didn't impose the post-season ban till the week of their LAST GAME.

Hope the NCAA doesn't give them credit for that...as they were given this case on a silver platter which showed dozens and dozens recruiting, plus current/past player violations in both football and basketball.

As the other poster noted...its amazing that Clint Hurtt at UL is still allowed to coach AND recruit.
