some TeleCoog thoughts:
1) The B1G didn't just elevate the quality of the Rutgers & Maryland programs. Those school will get more money now, but they’ll waste more money too. As organizations tend to do. The B1G just essentially added two Baylors to their league. Yeah, the overall quality of the ACC and Big East will drop slightly, but so will the quality of the B1G. IMHO they’ve moved more toward us than we will have moved toward the rest of the Go5.
2) All the Big East schools have been playing football for many years (some (much) more than others), and all will continue to play football for many years to come. A few more will move to other leagues. But there will be a diminishing number of opportunities to move to other leagues. Stick together in this Best of the Rest league. Demographics are on our side. The BigXII and the B1G are tied to dwindling population centers. Wait them out. The Big East will become the PAC.

RE: relax
I take heart in knowing that we have the best commissioner in college athletics. We have leadership as well as demographics. BYU, Air Force and Army are the answer if we can possibly bring them in.
