I would hope our leadership is cunning enough to market us correctly.

This conference is perpetually under seige. There's no pretense, no secret. yet, somehow it carries on and survives.

America loves two things among many,

1. A winner
2. An underdog

when both happen simultaneously it's magic.


if I were Aresco, when this all shakes out, I'd go out immediately and start making commercials emphasizing "the giant slayer". we're the camp that's always raided, those left in the cold, those left outdoors during the apocalypse. we're the folks that won't die.

Start getting some people on our side, rooting for us. Use a self-deprecating approach and win the hearts and minds of the country.

i mean we wouldn't be lying.

I assume you mean as all sports? Because I took it as football and would say hell no to any of those (yes, I understand the irony of that coming from a Memphis fan, but isn't one ****** team that at least contributes in other ways enough?)
