Thought this deserved it's own thread. Yeah, it sucks against my Owls (man are we awful right now), but it is still a big accomplishment for your program. I remember how much fun it was beating MTSU for our first FBS win. Enjoy it.

Thanks for the classy post, man. It was very physical and FAU played a damn good game. I hope you guys get things turned around. We caught a lot of breaks but it was meant to be for us tonight. Good luck with the rest of conference play.

Thanks for the classy post! FAU changed up a few things and it looks like Pellini will turn FAU around. They played hard today.

Thanks for the class post. It feels great to get that first FBS win. Those that left early missed a very exciting finish. Lots of happy players and coaches. What a game!

Good luck the rest of the way Owls.

Great post, great win. We are happy Jag fans tonight. Both teams still have things to work on, but it was an exciting game. That is the best you can ask for.

I echo everyone else here... thanks for the classy post. Also, congrats for having such a classy team while we're at it. I watched that game (from start to finish ;-) and found myself wondering how FAU was 1-5 at the time. Tough team, respectable QB, hard-hitting D, excellent receivers, etc., etc., etc. Here's to FAU and I hope y'all find the winning formula soon!

Thanks. Unlike the past few years, FAU plays hard, but we just don't have enough talent yet. The D is no where near where it needs to be. Despite our record, I think Pelini has them going in the right direction, but it'll take time. We've now coughed up 2 games late that we probably should have won (today and the UNT game). Hopefully, we'll learn to win these games soon. Oh well. Best of luck the rest of the year.

Great sportsmanship and a great game for the USA faithful. By faithful I mean those that stayed for the finish. I was ashamed of those who left early, but I apologize for being a bit negative on an otherwise classy thread started by a classy FAU fan.

Sorry, but you shouldn't have won the UNT game.

We lost by 6 at home and our QB threw 2 early INTs including 1 in the endzone. In the 4th quarter, when we were down 3, we force a UNT FG try, but then rough the kicker...and then hold UNT to another FG, but that drained like 6 or 7 minutes from the clock. It was as close to a SBC win as we had all season up until yesterday. The point being, when you lose at home because of some dumb mistakes on your own part, it was a game you should have won. That doesn't take anything away from the team that actually won, but a lot the mistakes in that game were self-inflicted.

Hahahaha, somebody didn't watch the game.
But well done and congrats to USA, I still think that the refs handed you the game on a silver platter, but fact of the matter is, y'all outplayed us in the 4th quarter, and that's what matters! Best of luck the rest of the way and see y'all next year in Boca!

Your guys were hanging, bumping, and grabbing all over our receivers in the fourth quarter. There was only one pass interference call I thought was questionable. I figured they'd say it was uncatchable but they didn't. But there were other calls that didn't get made that could have warranted a call. One of those touchdowns made was a one handed grab. It was one handed because the FAU defender was holding his other arm. That didn't get called. If the FAU defenders didn't want to get called they should have been more disciplined. USA had 28 penalties in the previous 2 Sun Belt games with Troy and ASU. Believe me, the refs aren't on our side.
