Yeah.....but I also remember a WKU team getting our doors blown off last year by IN State then just about ran through the sun belt.

There's no Bobby Rainey to save them this year. Before any WKU fans chime in, I know yall are good, I think yall are the best team in the conference right now, but the catalyst to improve last season was lead by the senior leader Rainey on a very young football team.

Well the question would then have to be- does Houston have a similar type player to step up and offer some leadership?

I also think that UNT is having to learn how to win again. They're a fairly talented team, but have got to learn to get over the hump. Houston has been good the last couple years, so even in a down year, they have players that are used to winning and know how to.

Not exactly. They've come a long way, like many good teams do as the season progresses.

And this thread is weak, why do you all even care?

Like yall constantly remind us, UNT is still in the Sun Belt until the end of this season. We are discussing a SBC team.

Well we see every preseason whatever Tony Mitchell makes. A thread about a team in the Sun Belt isn't exactly out of the question.
