I'd say it was more like 18K (about 60% full). If you're looking at the crowd late in the 2nd half then it's not many people at all. Here are some pictures from the Sun Belt broadcast that shows the crowd:

----Many think that the problem is that we are UNDER REPORTING---If the stadium holds 31K plus in seats---surely the people sitting and standing in the endzones and behind the lower decks could pack all the seats---there is such a tremendous rush to the gate that they can't click 4 lines entering or tearing tickets or both!!! The Ga St game claim 9,531. There should have been a stipulation in the contract to bring them up. They must get to a certain average attendance by a certain date to remain in the league.

I will defend GaSta for once here. They are in the CAA which is anything but regional for them. The CAA is made up of great football powers but outside of JMU, Delaware and ODU they all have pretty small fan bases so the average travel is very low. Had they been in the SoCon this year they may average about 1K more per game and have more fan interest due to more locally recognizeable teams.

With that said, nobody in the SoCon wanted them and they are still over reporting their attendance.

Once conference play starts from them there will be a huge jump in attendance for some games. Troy will probably bring 5-7k, USA will bring a few thousand, MT and WKU should bring a few. If we do get Ga So they will bring 5-7k and App could bring a lot. They will probably still only get their 3k per game.
