How he feels about what he is doing never enters into the equation. It is his duty, and no matter how stupid it makes him look, he will do it, and look sharp doing it.

I realize this is a trivial thing... holding an umbrella for the President... but it had to be done... and they do it with style and precision

Sorry... I just have a lot of respect for people who take such pride in trivial things. Imagine how that guy acts when he's doing something important.

I didn't mean to imply you did SMAUG... I hope you didn't take that from my comment. I'm just focusing on the huge positive in that photo rather than the somewhat trivial negative. It was a photo op decision gone bad...
