Two Hilltoppers listed on the 4th Team Mid Season All America Team. Quanterus Smith and Antonio Andrews. Bret Baer from ULL is 3rd team. Nice press for the Sunbelt once again!

Congrats. Those guys deserve it, if not higher...

All three of these guys would be first or second team All Americans if in an AQ conference, IMHO. Just getting noticed at all is a good place to be for now.

Level of competition the guys are up against from opposing teams as well as on their own depth chart for PT. Just the way it is.

Not the same but we had 5 guys make the mid-season All WAC team. One guy is 1st team PR/KOR and 2nd team WR.

3 of the 5 will be here next year.

As much as I hate to say this...Browning should be on the 4th team at QB instead of AJ Mccarron.

I don't think any UL fan has a problem acknowledging the talent of Browning or any other payer. We don't have a problem with that. Now your whiney-assed fans and their phone calls, letter writing campaigns and petitions are another matter altogether.

I have to agree, Hammer. I believe we have been really civil with respect to ULMs success this year. Then all of a sudden we find that there is more whining and crying coming from the Monroe crowd.. Fortunately, It will fall on deaf ears once again...

In order for non-AQ player to make any kind of list at the skilled position they have to put up Play Station like numbers to have a chance and sometimes that don't work. McCarron is a good QB no doubt but I think Browning is better not so sure about Braxton Miller either. Gino Smith is a no-brainer.
