Our program had a student off this forum dragged in for a meeting with the basketball coach and AD, IIRC. No one in Kalamazoo is thinking "big time".

I'm not questioning your journalistic integrity. The only thing that was amateurish about the whole thing was the "hey, let's give him some props" comments after the fact. Real journalists don't need that verbal fellatio and it rubs me the wrong way.

My bad on that one then. Let me take the heat then. I just found it frustrating that everybody on this board was ganging up against D.J. and giving him a bunch of crap for posting new info on the forum (like everyone else here does). And then when it was "officially" announced, nobody gave D.J. credit for actually being right about it. It just seems like whenever we provide (what I would call as a fan) "inside info," it's always questioned and called a "rumor" whereas when others report it, it's never even questioned for one second.

We're all just trying to provide good, solid, in-depth coverage for WMU. I appreciate the ones on this board that appreciate and understand our coverage.

DJ was and is fine. You're an itchnut.

Like I have said many times, it's part of our charm. We play on the same stage as the big boys though which is intriguing.

Likw being in the traffic pattern at Scottsdale airport in an old rented Skyhawk with a 737 ahead and a corporate Saberliner behind you and telling the tower how its going to go down when they ask you to land short. (Only a WMU board would appreciate that)

You have absolutely no valid reason for your personal grudge against me. All I did was stick up for my guy (against his will). Whatever it is, get over it and move on. 04-cheers

Nobody on this message board wants to see us go back and forth over petty crap (including myself). I'm sure you'll want the last word though...

I believe the correct term was "itchnut."

And yes, he does.
