Corey Robinson, and many others, still think CUSA is a better conference, by other means than just on the field play. I don't agree with it, I think the SBC conference is where its at. If you read between the lines, Corey Robinson wants the best for his team. That's loyalty. He wants his team to go somewhere that he perceives to be a better fit for Troy. Again, I don't agree with him, but I like his loyalty to his team.

What he is saying here is that he believes his team has a better chance at winning the conference if they were in C-USA instead of the juggernaut that is the SBC. 05-stirthepot It's just Troy's QB wanting an easier road because he is skeerd.

No you started it as smack...

You know zip. It's not smack to post someone's opinion that happens to be counter to what some posters here claim. Not all people from Troy are against and would not accept a move if the offer were made. The article posted just validates that.

It was smack. Put on your big boy pants and own it

Lol I want y'all. It's just many of the guys here wish that y'alls best game so far woud be against SC State or UTSA rather then Tenn so y'all can get some wins!
I think GSU is a solid pick up, much better than UNCC. I do wish that App St, Ga Southern, and Missouri State or NMSU were ready to come on up with y'all

Several Troy posters have tirelessly claimed in numerous threads that Troy was not interested in leaving the Sun Belt. Posting an article by a Troy reporter is not smack.05-nono The article and discussion on their board just shows that not all Troy folks shared the same view.

Everybody in the Sun Belt wants into CUSA. Those that say they don't have worked very hard to convince themselves that the Sun Belt is better. If you say it enough you'll start to believe it. NO Belt school would turn down an invite to CUSA.

Also, expect Troy to get destroyed on Saturday. Troy fans, have your excuses ready. You've been creative thus far this season.

You've been the worst of all. Excuse after excuse about how "Troy is the better team. They just..." Give me a break. Your years of Sun Belt domination have come to an end just like ours did. Accept it. Just like you would if a CUSA invitation were to come your way (which it won't).

There are Troy fans on here who still proclaim Trojan greatness. In my mind we still have a long ways to go. Now lets consider the facts josh. There are two Troy fans that talk about Troy in a manner you don't like, consistently. Two. It always amazes me how someone can think two people speak for an entire fanbase.

With that said, while there are some over the top troy fans, the impression I get from 5 or 6 north texas fans that post regulary on here is a sense of bitterness that it did happen to you. You guys went from hero to zero and 5 or 6 of you can't wait for it to happen to someone else. That's being bitter. I can tell by the way UNT fans have responded recently and during the offseason.
I think it will be a close game. What makes you think we're gonna get destroyed?

I for one said it will be a close game. Also if you go back a couple pages...I said I didn't like what the guy said because I have pride in the belt. Fans are individuals too.

Yeah, I didn't mean all UNT fans, just a few on here that have been going ape since the offseason about how they're gonna beat our tails worse than anyone else. They've had the Troy game circled in blood since December.

Lets do the talking on the field. If NT is really so great and will destroy Troy then prove it. Until we play this weekend everything on here BS speculation. Have fun bickering over nothing, save it for after we play.

Fact is that Troy has done nothing to prove they're any better than last year and Troy fans are saying how they should be 3-0 and competing for the conference championship. Really? I've heard more excuses from Troy fans than all other message boards combined.

Correction you have heard more excuses from BTH about Troy than anyone. Troy lost fair and square, and nothing can change that now we move on. Sounds like someone just wants to Troll....

Two fans, Josh. Two. That's what you're getting flabbergasted over. Two fans. Think about that for a second. The rest are saying we could have (not should have) been 2-0 if we didn't turn the ball over and made more plays on defense. We didn't get it done. And most of us, if not all of us, like it here in the SBC. Two years ago we would have LOVED to have been a part of CUSA. Now? It's a lateral move at best. That's what we honestly believe. I haven't heard too many Troy fans say they want to be in CUSA. As a reminder, your argument is we're bitter for being left behind, not whether its a lateral move, so be sure and not try to divert from what you said and get into an argument about how CUSA is better. We're not bitter about being in the SBC. 04-cheers

We like it here, leave us alone. You'll do fine in CUSA. It's a better fit for a texas based team, but not for Troy.
